MUSIC
The Mary Potterton Memorial Concert Series - Free admission
Starting with the last Wednesday in June, through the last Wednesday in
August, a concert is offered free of charge to the community of Lubec,
at 7:30 PM, at the Congregational Church. The concerts are dedicated to
the memory of Mary Potterton (1905-1993) who helped to begin the summer
music school in town. Donations are gratefully accepted.

Indian Days - Sipayik
The Passamaquoddy tribe holds a three-day Indian Days celebration each August, at Sipayik, (Pleasant Point).
Blueberry Festival - Machias

Be sure to attend the Annual Blueberry Festival, held in late August.
Washington County is the world's largest supplier of wild blueberries. This festival has arts & crafts, blueberry pancakes, blueberry baking contest, a road race and much more!

Salmon Festival - Eastport
Each year, usually on the second Sunday in September, the Salmon Festival is held in Eastport. This is to celebrate the commercial salmon farms in Cobscook, Johnson’s, and Passamaquoddy Bays.
