Campobello Island is Lubec's closest neighbor. The Island can be reached by crossing the Lubec Narrows, via the Roosevelt Campobello International Bridge (toll free). While on Campobello be sure to enjoy a brisk cold-water-swim in the waters of Herring Cove or stroll along the beach - a pebble-collector's paradise. There is a fun play area for children, and picnic tables and restrooms are available. Hikers may also enjoy Raccoon Beach or Lower Duck Pond.
