We will create a safe space to go deep: we’ll look at samples of fearless writing in various genres, use a number of exercises to create lists of the topics and ideas that feel most urgent and scary for us, and then try to write fearlessly toward those ideas.

In this workshop open to fiction and nonfiction writers, participants will examine what it means to create work that integrates showing and telling, maintaining forward motion while offering pushback that enables readers to exit the story with expanded perspective.
