Art Show at the Library

Location: Lubec Memorial Library, 55 Water St, Lubec.
This art show is for the entire month of October.
Artwork of Leslie Bowman on display at the Lubec Library during October will include recent representational paintings and a few of those works that take a look at the unseen. Bowman, a photographer, painter and maker, has been working in Washington County for over fifty years. She was trained in academia, earning a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and an MFA from Washington University in St Louis. Bowman has been on the faculty of the University of Maine at Machias, is a contributing photographer for the Island Institute and has exhibited her photos and paintings throughout the northeast.
