Art Reception and Show at the Library
Month of July, Time: Library Hours
Location: Lubec Memorial Library, 55 Water St, Lubec.
Reception on July 18th, 12 - 2 PM.
Judy Trafford has enjoyed the creative arts all of her life. After starting the Singing Wind Studio in 1993, she began combining her love of yoga with her love of art. Trafford has been on the faculty of the von Liebig Art Center in Naples, Fl. She has been a member of the Bonita Art League and the Naples Art Association where she won several awards. She recently began wintering in Aiken, South Carolina, where she has been
active in the Aiken Artists Guild and the Aiken Center for the Arts.
Judy has summered in Lubec for 21 years, where she works from her home studio painting the wonder of the Maine coastline with its colorful
fishing boats and seaside flowers. She loves the blue light in Lubec, the fog and the ever-changing skies.
In Lubec, she has shown her paintings in her Windows on the Bay Gallery and at the West Quoddy Lighthouse Gallery and now the
Lighthouse Pop Up.
It is Judy's sincere hope that her paintings inspire joy in the quiet places within the soul of the viewer.
Judy's paintings will be on display at the Lubec Memorial Library for the entire month of July, with a reception on Saturday July 18th,
12-2pm.
