A Lubec Arts Summer
Location: Lubec Landmarks, 50 Water Street
Lubec Landmarks presents A Lubec Arts Summer in cooperation with: The Mulholland Market Gallery and McCurdy's Smokehouse.
Schedule of Exhibits:
May 18 Spring Work Day, cleaning-up buildings and gardens. Volunteers encouraged to bring snacks or refreshments, and cleaning supplies followed by a Board Meeting, 5 - 6 PM, where all members of the public are welcome.
June 20 10 am to 4 pm - McCurdy Smokehouse Museum opens for the season.
June 20 ~ 25 10 am to 4 pm - Photographs of the Bay of Fundy International Marathon by students of Frank Van Riper and Judith Goodman. Also, John (JD) Rule's new book, Six Years Over the Bridge, will be on sale.
June 26 ~ July 9 10 am to 4 pm - Jeanne Backhaus, local artist and perennial favorite returns to Mulholland Market Gallery.
July 10 ~ 23 10 am to 4 pm - Summerkeys student photography show. Judith Goodman and Frank Van Riper's students show their best work.
July 24 ~ Aug 6 10 am to 4 pm - Adam Woodworth, Lubec photographer earning acclaim for his documentary and stunning astrophotography work.
Aug 7 ~ 27 10 am to 4 pm - Pat Fry, Lubec artist who keeps growing and evolving.
Aug 21 4 pm - Lubec Landmarks, Inc. Annual General Meeting.
Aug 28 ~ Sept 10 10 am to 4 pm - Fran Corriveau and Bonnie Clymer, local artists who uniquely capture the environment of the Quoddy region.
Sept 11 ~ 24 10 am to 4 pm - Annual Fiber Arts Show!!
Sept 21 10 am to 4 pm - Last day of the season for the McCurdy Smokehouse Museum.
Opening Receptions for each show will be from 5 to 7 pm on the first Saturday of the show.
