My Story:
Hi, I'm Scott Wilcox and after owning and operating my T-Shirt, Custom Printing, and Souvenir business in Wells Beach, Maine for over 40 years, it was time for a change. I picked Lubec because over 100 years ago my Great Grandfather, John Wilcox, owned the 'Four Winds' house, affectionately known as the Gerrish house, located at 123 Main Street and sold herring out of the barn that once stood there. (The house is just across and down the street a bit from the store!)
Starting at the age of seven, my father, Irving Wilcox, would spend his summers here with his grandparents and was put to work in the "The Mosquito Squads" pulling weeds. I spent my childhood summers at our family camp on Big Lake outside of Princeton and visited Lubec often to sightsee and hear my Dad's stories.
I am happy to be back in a place with deep family roots and unique coastal Maine beauty and am proud to have joined the Lubec community.
