About Cutler
A Lubec, Maine, neighbor
Cutler is a picturesque coastal fishing village where the fishermen can be seen daily, bringing in their loaded traps and totes. An excursion with the Bold Coast Charter Company provides scenic views of Little River Lighthouse and the magnificent coastline of Cutler Coast Public Reserved Land, known as the Bold Coast.
A drive to the opposite side of the harbor provides a wonderful view of the fishing boats, the harbor and village, and also provides access to the Western Head hiking trail, and the Bold Coast hiking trails.
The town was named for Joseph Cutler, an early settler from Newburyport, Massachusetts. The population in the 2010 census was 507. (Information adapted from Wikipedia)
